Moredun Housing Estate

A few weeks ago, me and my pal were bored in town so we decided to take a random bus to anywhere for a banter, we ended up taking an 8 and ended up in Moredun. Moredun is a housing estate 2 minutes up the road from Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. It is made up of six 15-storey tower blocks and some low-rise blocks of maisonettes (I don't know how many though). Moredun used to be very rundown until tenants living in the area fought for renovation in the mid - late 1990's. Unlike most high-rise renovations, the buildings were not plastered in tacky colours and still look good today (well...for high flats anyway!). I was going past Moredun today and got some more pics. I've got a new camera phone now which takes great pics so the pics are now much better.
